Cliqe, Ucho, and Brucho — the Cliqes characters

About Cliqes

Cliqes was born from a mistake — and a lot of laughter.

It started when we were building a Slovak language app for kids. An AI voice was doing its best to teach body parts, and then it hit ucho (ear) and brucho (stomach). What came out was something wonderfully wrong — the Slovak letters mangled, the -ch- sound swapped for the English one. An easy mistake for anyone learning the language, but an absolutely hilarious one.

The kids lost it. And honestly, so did I.

That moment stuck. Because that is exactly how language learning works — you get things wrong, you laugh, you try again. So instead of fixing the mistake, we turned it into characters. Ucho and Brucho became twin robot brothers who, legend has it, never paid attention in coding class and have been spelling their own names wrong ever since. They never say a word.

Their sister Cliqe (that's Cliqee to her friends) is the heart of the family — warm, patient, and genuinely happy every time you get something right. She will never laugh at you. But she might laugh with you.

Cliqes is built for kids learning Slovak — at home, with family, or just out of curiosity. We believe the best lessons hide inside moments that feel nothing like lessons at all.
